Sono trascorsi trent’anni dalla scoperta degli affreschi dello Studiolo del Pordenone.
Oggi, si realizza il sogno di mostrare per la prima volta le bellezze racchiuse nella Casa del Pordenone e di consegnare al pubblico la testimonianza dell’operato dei protagonisti che hanno contribuito alla valorizzazione di questo luogo.
Il progetto di quest’opera vuole essere multidisciplinare: la prima parte è dedicata al mio omaggio artistico al Pordenone; la seconda raccoglie i saggi, divisi per argomento, di diversi autori: Giancarlo Magri, Carolle Bidinot, Giulio C. Testa, Roberto Castenetto, Giordano Brunettin e Angelo Crosato.
Ho voluto inserire tutti quei contenuti – scritti dal 1989 ad oggi – per poter raccontare gli studi e la storia dell’edificio Sacchiense, attraverso diversi punti di vista.
Si tratta di testi bilingue che trattano – pur essendo di facile lettura – anche di aspetti tecnici e scientifici.
Il tutto è arricchito da una scrupolosa selezione della vasta documentazione fotografica dei restauri e delle immagini del corpus pordenoniano.
Esprimo la mia gratitudine agli autori che hanno impreziosito il volume con i loro testi e le splendide immagini, e a tutti gli amici e collaboratori con i quali ho condiviso le varie fasi di progettazione e realizzazione di quest’opera.

Thirty years have gone by since the discovery of the frecoes of the Study of the Pordenone.
Today, the dream of showing the beauty held in the Home of the Pordenone and to hand over the proof of the protagonist’s work, who contributed to the valorisation of this place, has, for the first time, come true.
This work’s project wishes to be multidisciplinary: the first part is dedicated to my artistic homage to the Pordenone; the second gathers the essays, divided by the topic they cover, of several authors: Giancarlo Magri, Carolle Bidinot, Giulio C. Testa, Roberto Castenetto, Giordano Brunettin e Angelo Crosato.
I have included of these contents – written from 1989 to today – to narrate the studies and the history of the de’ Sacchis building through different points of view. It is made up of bilingual texts, that – though easy to read – also deal with technical and scientific aspects.
All this is enriched by a scrupulous selection from the vast photographic documentation of the restoration, and by images of the Pordenone’s corpus.
I must express my gratitude to the authors who have enhanced this tome with their essays and fabulous images, and to all the friends and collaborators with whom I have shared the various phases of this work, from its design to the final implementation.
